Kavanaugh Pumpkin Patch

What an awesome day we had at my sister's house, aka Kavanaugh Pumpkin Patch. For the past few years, they have planted a pretty large pumpkin patch in their small south field. I think there are easily 100 pumpkins in the patch. Last year, Michelle called and said they were going to have a large pumpkin carving day. It was so much fun, we decided to do it again.
When we pulled up that day, Matt and his 2 youngest boys were already getting started.

Cameron was digging out his pumpkin too. Haley was home from college on Fall Break! We miss her so much, but glad she is enjoying college life.

Our girls picking out the perfect pumpkin.
Haley had a heck of a time getting all of the "guts" out of her pumpkin. She spent quite a bit of time on it. (All the while, smiling:)
Sweet little Maddox was so cute. He sat with Aunt Michelle while she helped him carve his design.

Xander and Ally had a great time playing, while the Daddy's carved their pumpkins.

My brother-in-law cracks me up. He was busy working around the house digging a new line for the bathroom in the garage.

"Guts"

The beginnings.
Brent and his perfect pumpkin.

Are you kidding me with those eyes?
Ally? What? Loving a dog???? Lucy is such a loving dog. She MADE Ally love on her!!!! Thanks, Lucy.
Fun on the tire swing. And.........are you kidding me with that view. My sister has lived in this house for 12 years, and I still can't get over the views of each season. Many people ask her, "How do you live so far out?" Well, you can see for yourself. It's like a little patch of heaven!

Mya's pumpkin. She did a lot of this herself (with the help of a pattern, of course). She would not let me punch many of the holes. She wanted to do it herself.
Sweet Larryn!!! We are so glad you came out.

Warm, yummy taco soup after the carving. Man, it was good. We couldn't stop eating it.
It was also Alex's 16th birthday. He wouldn't let me take his picture. Boo!
All of our creations!!!

Thanks to my wonderful sister and brother-in-law for the great times had at the Kavanaugh Pumpkin Patch!!!! Can't wait to do it again next year. Love you!!!
