Wow. Just the other day we were discussing how we haven't had a measurable snow here in years. A snow that the kids can just play in for hours like we used to do when we were kids. We sure got one. It has been so much fun. The girls absolutely loved it. Mya is turning out to be quite the thrill seeker. She was begging us to push her faster down the hill (our not so large hill in the back yard). We played and played. No snow man building though. On Tuesday it was just too powdery, and on Wednesday, we received an inch of ice overnight before we received another 4-5 inches of snow. We tried to go sledding again on Wednesday, but the ice was rough on the knees. We ended up pushing the girls on the sled on the driveway since there was an inch of ice. Either way, we all had a great time!!!! No school again on Thursday(or Friday). Maybe the snow will be ready for snowman building then!!
